Temple Grift
The Mormon church has turned one of the elements it preaches is the most sacred, its temples, into a grift and most members don’t even realize it.
It’s quite simple really. The Mormon church teaches the members in order to attain complete salvation and exaltation, they have to go to the temple. However, in order to gain access to the temple, you have to be what the church calls a full tithe payer.
This means you have to follow the Old Testament law of tithing and pay 10% of your income to the church every month. Keep in mind the church has over $200 billion, but they still want your 10%.
If you pay tithing the way the church wants you to, you gain access to the temple. Otherwise, you don’t.
Church members have to pay to access the temple. It’s a clever little grift.
